The temple was established in 1332 BS (1925 AD). For over a century, it has served as a primary spiritual and cultural center in the region. In 2026, the temple celebrates its 101st annual Raksha Kali Puja along with Brahma Puja, Shitala Puja, and Jarasindhu Puja.
