How it works

  1. Step 1

    Find a missing temple

Use the coverage guide and the check-first map in the app to make sure the temple is not on MandirBD yet.

  2. Step 2

    Visit and collect

Go to the temple, talk to the committee or the priest, and note its deity, festivals and history.

  3. Step 3

    Submit from the app

Add at least 3 photos, the committee contact and the details in five short steps.

  4. Step 4

    Get paid

A reviewer approves the temple and sets the amount. It becomes withdrawable after 14 days.

The rules

  • Only temples that are not on MandirBD yet are paid.
  • At least 3 clear photos of the temple itself.
  • The committee's or the priest's name and phone number. It stays private unless they agree to publish it.
  • Approved money is held for 14 days; you can withdraw from ৳500.
  • Your first 5 temples are reviewed by the central team.
  • A fake temple, copied photos or a temple already listed is a strike; three strikes in 90 days suspend the account.

Questions

Who can apply?

Anyone with a MandirBD account and a verified phone number who knows the temples of their area. We call every applicant before approving.

How much is a temple worth?

It depends on the kind of temple, the area and how complete your submission is. The app shows an estimate before you submit, and the reviewer sets the final amount.

What if someone else sends the same temple?

The first one approved is paid. The other is declined without a strike.

How am I paid?

By bKash, Nagad, Rocket or bank transfer to an account in your own name. Request a withdrawal in the app and you get a receipt with the transaction ID.

What is a strike?

A strike is given for a fake temple, copied photos or a temple already on MandirBD. Three strikes in 90 days suspend the account and freeze the money still on hold.
