Located in Hatikumrul Union of Ullapara Upazila, Sirajganj, the Hatikumrul Navaratna Temple is the largest three-story Navaratna (nine-spired) terracotta temple discovered in Bangladesh. Modeled after the Kantajew Temple of Dinajpur and locally also known as the 'Dolmancha', this 15.4m by 13.25m brick-and-terracotta monument stands on a raised plinth with a sanctum surrounded by a veranda featuring seven outer and five inner arched entrances. The archaeological complex also includes three smaller subsidiary shrines: a Shiva-Parvati temple to the north, a Do-chala Chandi temple, and a terracotta-ornamented Shiva temple by the southern pond.

About
History
Although no dedicatory inscription survives, historical records and the Department of Archaeology indicate that the temple was built between 1704 and 1728 CE during the reign of Nawab Murshid Quli Khan by Ramnath Bhaduri, a prominent Naib-Diwan and local zamindar. According to popular tradition, Ramnath Bhaduri assisted his friend Raja Prannath of Dinajpur in paying imperial revenue during the construction of Kantajew Temple, and in return, this temple was built in the likeness of Kantajew. In 1987, the Department of Archaeology of Bangladesh declared it a protected monument and undertook its conservation.
