Located in the foothills of Chittagong, Shri Shri Kaivalya Dham, established by Shri Shri Ramthakur, is a major spiritual centre. In the Dham's own description, the service and worship of Shri Shri Kaivalyanath, the chanting of names, and the spiritual and social welfare of people irrespective of caste, religion, or colour are highlighted as the primary purpose. The Dham's courtyard contains the Nat Mandir, the banyan tree known as Kaivalya Shakti, the Gaya Ghar, and the Kaivalya Kund, all of which hold special significance. According to its own publications, the Kaivalya Kund is excavated for devotees' bathing and shraadh rituals. Beside the Kund, the Gaya Ghar is arranged for shraadh ceremonies, and there is mention of preserving the carved footprints of Ramthakur. In the Dham's library, Ramthakur's writings, Veda speeches, biographical books, and photographs are available. In addition to daily worship and recitation, Bengali New Year and the autumn Durga festival are specially celebrated here. The Dham's religious identity, worship, and history need to be understood in the light of its own Ramthakur tradition.

About
History
According to the temple's own history, after searching various locations for a permanent ashram, Ram Thakur selected the foothill site in Chittagong. In this initiative, Bidhu Bhushan Busu played a special role. Ram Thakur named the place Kaibolydham. On 10 Shravana 1337 Banga Bhad, the ashram was established through the installation of the image of Kaibolnath and the Kirtanotsav. Haripada Bandyopadhyay assumed the duty of the first Mohanta. In the subsequent phase, there is a description of building the temple, sleeping quarters, and houses for visiting devotees. In the architectural plan, engineer Yogeshchandra Guh and the role of Bidhu Bhushan Busu and collaborators in construction are preserved in the temple's memoir.
