A renowned ancient Hindu Shakti Peetha located in Ishwaripur village, Shyamnagar, Satkhira. According to belief, it is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas where Maa Sati's palm fell. The presiding Bhairava here is Chanda Bhairava.

About
History
It is believed that a Brahmin named Anari originally built the temple with 100 doors in the late 12th century. Later, King Lakshman Sen in the 13th century and Maharaja Pratapaditya of Jeshore in the 16th century renovated and rebuilt the temple. Maharaja Pratapaditya introduced regular worship and constructed the Natmandir. In 1839 and 1844, Balaram Chattopadhyay and Kalikinkar Chattopadhyay reconstructed the temple complex.
How to get there
By bus from Dhaka (Gabtoli/Kalyanpur) to Satkhira or Shyamnagar, then by local rickshaw, van, or motorcycle to Ishwaripur village.
