About
History
According to the published local historical account, Bashinath Pal, Brijnath Pal, and Mathur Chand Pal of South Rupaspur donated 46 shatko of land on Habiganj road for the construction of a temple. Radhanath Dev Chaudhuri played a role in building the Jagannath temple there. Later, to cover the expenses of the construction, Brijnath Das Chaudhuri of Vimsir donated agricultural land in Ramnagar. The exact year of establishment is not confirmed.
